I was in Reno and local friends suggested Johnny's and had me call and make the reservation. I called and we got a reservation for the time we wanted. We arrived and had a short wait and then were seated at our table. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. They have a great wine list and the prices were reasonable We hadn't seen each other for a while and were not rushed to order. We all ordered something different and we were very happy with our selections. The noise level is a little high but bearable. We all loved our selections and enjoyed our time together. This is a great restaurant and yes a little pricey but there are many pasta items that do not break the bank.

The basil martinis are my go to! The minestrone soup is a classic staple that's wonderfully prepared dressy but not stuffy feeling . Sitting at the bar or in the dining room, you'll have a great experience. My favorite do to dessert is the Canoli

Johnny's is our go to fine dining Italian. The atmosphere is classy, the service is top tier and the food is out of this world! We usually start with the bruschetta and a salad. For our mains, I get the Penne Sorrento and my fiancé always the Filetto di Sogliole Petrale. Side note you have to make sure they have the Sole available right when you're seated because they have a limited amount. 10/10 would recommend!

Johnnys never seems to disappoint. I ordered a chicken dish with mushrooms and artichoke hearts and tomatoes, came with a side of angel hair pasta, and roasted veggies. I also had a choice of super salad. It's getting a little chilly out so I opted for their house. Minestrone. It was very good. The chicken was super tender and flavorful without being too salty. None of the vegetables were overcooked, which tends to happen at some restaurants. Highly recommend you make a reservation for Johnnys as it will not disappoint you.

My recent experience here was a five star dinning experience! We went for a surprise birthday dinner. The staff did a great job of accommodation for our party of eleven. We were promptly seated and had a team of servers that assisted us with our needs. The food per the usual is the best. Honestly their food is so consistent! I've been coming here since I was a kid and it always has made a memorable meal.

Early Valentine dinner at our favorite Italian spot. My family has celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, promotions at Zozo's over the years. Tonite the service was great and attentive. Appetizer of fried calamari was a bit tough. Disappointing as it's a favorite and usually crispy and easy to chew. Looked like mini squids. Our salads were fresh n crunchy with croutons, although no one came by to offer cracked pepper. Ranch dressing was a bit watered down and not the thick creamy I'm used to either. Their complimentary garlic bread is served warm and tasty. Our Cajun pasta was delicious. Pasta cooked to perfection and sauced with a creamy red sauce with a bit of kick mixed in with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken bits. Absolutely fabulous. Portioned for me to take home half for dinner another day. We will be back. Zozo's remains a favorite.

Made reservations for a midweek date night. When we arrived we were sat right away. The decor and ambiance was very cozy old school Italian which was really cute! The house bread was very fresh and soft. The house salads were okay. I wish they would've warned about the blue cheese as i would have asked for it without and personally i think they could have used more dressing. For mains we had the penne alla vodka and penne marie. Both were very good portion size and absolutely delicious! We also had the garlic bread which was heaven!!! I will have dreams about that garlic bread. Johnny's tasted so authentic and we will definitely be back!
